Long before a piece of jewelry ever takes shape, it starts as a stone — still rough, still raw, still holding onto whatever corner of the earth it came from.
Sourcing is where it all begins. Every stone in the LG Art collection is hand-selected from trusted dealers at gem shows across the country, with minerals originating from places like Brazil, Madagascar, Mexico, Colombia, Indonesia, South Africa, and Spain. Each one is chosen for its clarity, color, quality, and the kind of character you can't manufacture — unusual formations, unexpected color shifts, the things that make you stop and look twice.
This isn't something you learn overnight. LG Art's founder grew up in the mineral business, traveling to shows with her parents' company from a young age and learning how to spot a remarkable stone long before she ever picked up a pair of pliers. That foundation of over 15 years of refining her eye and her craft is in every piece.
When it's time to create, there are no sketches. No blueprints. The stone leads. Each one is different, and the wire follows its shape, its curves, its personality. Sterling silver and gold-fill wire are shaped entirely by hand using pliers and simple hand tools. No heat, no solder, no shortcuts. Every coil and bend is deliberate, designed to hold and highlight the stone without hiding what makes it beautiful.
It's an intuitive process, and that's part of what makes every piece genuinely one of a kind.
One of the most rewarding parts of the work happens in person, at shows and events, where customers can choose a raw stone from the collection and watch it transform into a finished piece right in front of them. There's something special about seeing someone's face when a stone they picked out minutes ago is suddenly wrapped and wearable. Made just for them, on the spot.

People are drawn to these pieces for different reasons. Some fall in love with the natural beauty of the stones. Others connect with the metaphysical properties that certain minerals are known for. Whether a stone speaks to you aesthetically, energetically, or both — that's yours to decide. Either way, what you're wearing is real, it's natural, and there's nothing else exactly like it.
Every piece starts from the earth and ends with you.
